Bruut is an excerpt of one of my jewellery design projects inspired by brutalism. I wanted the visual components of the architectural movement to become the conceptual drivers of the project in order to enable experimentation with new shapes that would evoke the reference rather than imitating it. The raw is thus cited in the quite brutal, instinctive and asemic-automatic approach to the subject, resulting in primitive and spontaneous patterns, symbols and shapes.
